Why this site exists

I tried drain gels and homemade traps before using a plug-in trap near my kitchen counter. It caught flies the first night, and I saw the number flying around decline over the following several days.

I started by sharing the solution with friends and family. Once word got out that it worked, I decided to put the method online so more people could get the same straightforward answer.

Fruit flies happen

It is not your fault. Fruit flies happen, and they can turn a normal kitchen into a daily frustration before you know where they came from. People need help, not judgment.

This site gives you a clear plan: identify the fly, remove the breeding material, clean the problem areas, and trap the adults.

How the site is funded
